is a germany based artist, working in the fields of
materialpainting, photography, soundobjects and installations.
Blau’s work is often an ironic and critical comment on our media influenced society and pop-culture.
Images, techniques and text overlap and challenge the viewer not to trust their first impression.

CV Christian Blau
Christian Blau was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1960.
Since 1982 he worked as a drummer, lyricist and composer in various projects.
In 1992, he created his first works using sand, ash and lead.
Since 1993 he began exhibiting as an artist.
