the work shown here documents the first work phase (1992-1996) of christian blau. here the work concentrated on experimentally created textures. the emphasis of the material aesthetics constitutes the preferential materials lead, ash and sand. the predominance of abstract pictures and sculptures have a meditative character - the natural characteristics of the materials become the means of the artistic printout. |
